You know that question that magazine writers like to ask when they're interviewing a celebrity? The "What's playing on your iPod right now?" question. Well, I am certainly not a celebrity, but I would like to share with you my current playlist. This is my exercise playlist, almost exactly 30 minutes of upbeat tunes to keep me moving. I designed it to go with my new elliptical . . . well the new elliptical I hope to get with Christmas money. I'll keep you posted on how that works out and if the music really keeps me on it for 30 minutes; keep your fingers crossed!
Here's my very eclectic mix, in no particular order, for 30.6 minutes of play:
"Lisztomania" by Phoenix
"Percussion Gun" by White Rabbits
"Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston
"Dog Days Are Over" by Florence + The Machine
"Just Dance" by Lady Gaga
"Viva la Vida" by Coldplay
"How Far We've Come" by Matchbox Twenty
"Grenade" by Bruno Mars
Now put some music on and start moving! I'm going to have this playlist going as I'm cleaning the house (that counts for aerobic exercise, right?).

And so it begins . . .
I am going to warn you, I am not a very diligent person when it comes to something like this, something like writing a blog. This may very well be one of those many things I very strongly tell myself I am going to do every day, every week, or even once a month but then never do. By looking at my track record, I probably won't keep this up very long. Blogging is another one of my attempts to start something that I want to do because it interests me or because I think it will be beneficial to me, or in this case, both. I fairly often, however, lack the diligence or internal motivation (or whatever it is people use) to actually follow through on my ideas. This, you might say, is ineffective habit numero uno.
I have called my blog "Habits of the Highly Ineffective" firstly, I suppose, because I have a slightly pessimistic view of myself at this time in life, and I would like a chance to write about how an unexciting girl like me tries to make her way through life. Secondly, it is just my attempt in humor (yes, you can laugh now . . . not because the title is actually clever or funny but because it is all my feeble mind posses that resembles humor).
So, here it is, my collection of anything and everything. I hope you can read on and find something to make you laugh, something to make you cry, something to make you think. This is just me trying to share with you the ups and downs of my attempt to make it through life constantly learning and trying and becoming the person I want to be while also knowing that I will never, in this life, attain perfection.
